Summer is  coming to an end.  Or maybe it’s just beginning for those who live in San Francisco. Indian Summer is around the corner for them. Just because  summer is over and you’re less likely to wear a bikini, maxi dresses and those crop tops you love, does’t mean you should put your workouts on the back burner. Five Minute Workout#2

Workout Breakdown:

  1. Broad Jump (1) to (1x)push-up 3x
  2. Crunches x10
  3. Twisted squats x12
  4. Mountain Climbers x10
  5. Side Lunges x8

Summer Salad

I modified this one from the original and took out the purple cabbage because I just don’t like the  bitter taste.

 

Ingredients:

  • Salad 5oz. mixed greens salad
  • 1-1.5 c. of pineapple
  • half of a red onion sliced
  • 1 avocado

Dressing:

  • half a cup of pineapple
  • 1 shallot diced or 1sp of garlic powder
  • 3 tbsp champagne vinegar
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1/4 c. olive oil

Place all ingredients into a blender and mix.
